Privacy and photo removal

What happens to a photograph.

Pose takes still photographs at events, and only when a guest starts one. This page explains, in plain terms, what is kept, who can see it, and how to have a photograph removed. It describes how the product works today; it is not a legal document.

What the mirror saves

  • Still photographs only. Pose does not record video or audio.
  • A photograph is taken only after a guest starts it at the mirror.
  • Before a guest's first photograph, the pad shows a short note covering the points on this page.

Nothing is kept until Keep

After each photograph the guest sees it and chooses. Retake discards it. Keep adds the framed photograph to the event's gallery, and only then is it saved.

Who can see the gallery

Each event has its own gallery, opened by a private link. Anyone with that link can see the kept photographs; the gallery is not linked from this website or listed anywhere public. The host decides who receives the link. Prints made at the mirror are physical copies that guests take home.

Having a photograph removed

Ask the event host, who can contact us, or email us directly at hello@pose-mirror.com. Include the event name and date and describe the photograph, or attach a screenshot of it from the gallery. We remove it from the gallery by hand.

Removing a photograph from the gallery cannot recall prints that were already made or copies someone has already saved from the link.
